Under Construction

One year … we’ve been in this wonderful new home one year. As I walk through the rooms, I remember watching the house go up. First it was just a hole in the ground. Next came the huge concrete slab.  Every day my husband and I would drive to the construction site and view the progress. Some days it seemed it was the same as the day before. Other days the house had suddenly taken on a different personality.

As we stepped from room to room through the “walls” we discussed how it would be when a wall was there. It was hard to visualize the finished product.

One day a huge piece of equipment arrived. It was time to pour the outside walls. The concrete mixer turned around and around, as the liquid concrete moved through a chute to travel way high in the air … far higher than the light poles. It took two men on the ground to guide the hose full of concrete to the correct spot to fill.

Windows.  Tile.  Roof.  A wonderful new home was being created before us.

As human beings, we are also under construction. Sometimes the progress isn’t really visible to others. Other times, everyone can notice the change. From the moment of our conception, we have been growing and changing. God designed it that way. We are exactly as He planned in His blueprint.

How’s your house coming along?

“You know me inside and out,
      you know every bone in my body;
   you know exactly how I was made, bit by bit,
      how I was sculpted from nothing into something.”
 Psalm 139:15 (MSG)

It is in the viewing that we destroy the view. It must come to us, freely, we accepting that it will find us.

Only when your sickness becomes sick will your sickness disappear. The Sages illness has become ill his renunciation has been renounced.

Now he is free and every place in this world is the perfect place to be.

Those things of the past are past.
